Yes - simply browse or search to the product you wish to purchase, find the pack size that matches your requirement, adjust the quantity to the numbers of packs you require, then click on the 'add' button to add this item to the shopping basket. Don't forget that the larger the pack size the cheaper the seed is per unit, so it is cheaper to have 1 pack x 10grams than 2 packs x 5 grams. Once you have selected all the items you require proceed to the checkout where you will be asked to provide delivery details before being forwarded to a secure server where your credit card details will be taken. It's that easy.
Yes. You can go through the shopping cart process, as described above, and opt to send a cheque as your preferred payment method. We will then keep your order on file while we await your cheque (please put our order number given on the receipt page on the reverse of the cheque so we can easily match the payment with the order). Once we have received the cheque your goods will be despatched. Alternatively you can download an order form from the 'Downloads' page, complete the product details and quantities, and send a cheque with the order. All correspondence should be sent to:

If the 'add' button is shown on the page then this product is either in stock or expected shortly. If the 'sold out' button is shown then we have either sold out of this item permanently or there has been a crop failure for the current season.
The majority of our flower seed products are supplied untreated, while many of our vegetable seed products are available in both treated and untreated format, however it is not always possible to offer options. While we make no extra charge for treated or untreated seed when in stock we reserve the right to make an additional charge to cover the costs of any specific requirements, such as having the seed treated to order. If you have a particular request for treated or untreated seed please state this at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to make a handling charge for seed returned due to it being treated or untreated when a particular request was not made at the time of ordering.
Yes. Most vegetable seed is supplied as natural seed, except for the majority of the F1 Brassica and F1 Carrot seed which is supplied as graded seed. Popular graded items are shown within the product range. We also offer a grading service depending upon the product and quantity concerned. If you require graded seed please contact us with your requirements and we will be pleased to quote a price.
Yes. All our organic seeds are certified by the Soil Association as being organically produced. A copy of our latest certificate is available to download from the 'Downloads' page.
No. Although many of our products are produced using the latest breeding techniques, none are genetically modified, or have been derived from genetically modified parent material. The methods used in the development and maintenance of these varieties are designed to minimise the presence of off-types, including genetically modified organisms. Due to the free movement of pollen it is not possible for open pollinated crops to be guaranteed to be free from the presence of adventitious GM material. However, Moles Seeds works closely with breeders, suppliers and the relevant Government bodies to ensure that any such risks are minimised.
The seed is supplied in hermetically sealed foil packets, sealed plastic packs or paper sacks depending upon the product and its particular storage requirements. The product label details the product, quantity and any seed treatments. For sowing instructions please see the relevant Technical Information on this website. You may add any combination of packets for the same product to the basket in order to reach your desired quantity for that product, however we reserve the right to send that quantity in one single packet or a combination of up to five packets depending upon availability at the time of order processing. If you require the seed to be packed exactly as ordered you must tick the 'keep package breakdown as ordered' box on the product page before adding the packets to the basket so we are made aware of this particular requirement. Please note we reserve the right to charge for the cost of extra packaging where more than five packets of the same product are ordered and the 'keep package breakdown as ordered' box is ticked.
We are able to supply seeds to most parts of the world depending upon the products and the destination concerned, but because of the many variables involved with shipping seed around the globe, such as shipping charges, phytosanitary restrictions, etc., this site is configured to fully calculate shipping charges on orders for delivery to certain destinations. If you wish to order seed for delivery outside of this area please select your requirements and place the order, we will then be able to advise on any shipping charges and phytosanitary restrictions that may apply. Please note that we do not accept any liability for any import duty, import tariffs or additional charges, incurred by the customer once the goods have been despatched from our premises. We will endeavour to assist customers with import paperwork but we do not accept liability where the correct paperwork, etc., was not requested before despatch. If we are asked to send goods without the necessary import paperwork then the liability (and cost) for non-delivery is the responsibility of the customer. Please check our Export Order Information page before placing an order.
The products are delivered by either postal services, courier or road freight, depending upon destination and value/weight of the goods concerned. The charges for individual product categories are shown on the relevant product pages.
When an item is in stock we try to despatch the products within two working days of receiving the order, however we always recommend you order as early as possible as other factors beyond our control, such as crop failures or delivery problems, may delay the delivery of the products. Furthermore, in order to preserve seed quality many of our items are packed to order, which may cause a delay in fulfilling the order, especially during the peak demand months of January, February and March. If you need the delivery urgently, or timed for a particular week, then please let us know at the time of ordering so we can try to ensure this requirement is met. Some items, such as seed potatoes, are only shipped at certain times of the year so please see individual product descriptions for any special delivery restrictions.
We can only accept seed returns as a result of incorrect ordering and only at our discretion. Products must not be returned to us without prior notification and must be in our sealed packets as supplied, and must be in a suitable box or padded envelope. All returns will be subject to a handling charge. We must be notified within 7 days of receipt. Under no circumstances can we accept returns of non-catalogue items. We reserve the right to charge for, or withhold a refund for, additional services (e.g. bespoke backing, additional testing, obtaining export documents, etc.) relating to orders that are delivered and returned or cancelled prior to despatch, where the costs have been incurred prior to confirmation of cancellation when said charges are accepted by the customer at the time of ordering.
All our products are rigorously checked to ensure they are both true to type and germinate in excess of any legal requirements. In the unlikely event that a Moles Seeds product fails to perform satisfactorily then please contact us immediately, so we can investigate the problem and take any action deemed necessary.
