Sow from late January through to mid-April. Germinate at 18-22oC, cover lightly with vermiculite; the seed can take several weeks to germinate and should be kept moist during this period. Prick out when large enough into packs/pots/modules as required, grow on at 14-18oC. Plants can be hardened off at around 10oC prior to planting out, when the plants should have developed at least 4-5 leaves. Production times are typically 6 weeks from sowing to finished plug and 8 weeks from plug to saleable fruiting plant in 15cm pot. 1,800 seeds per gram.
