‘Sea Holly’. Perennial. Sow February-March in cold frame. Germination may be erratic. Sell in: 8cm pot or larger (green plant with label). End Use: Borders (Alpinum superbum), containers and front of borders (Blue Hobbit), cut flowers (Alpinum superbum).
Planum type: Perennial, sow April-July, germination takes 2-4 weeks at 15-20°C, cover seed with vermiculite. 800 seeds per gram. Sell in: 10-12cm pots. End Use: Borders, Cut flower, dried flower.
Blue Glitter: Perennial, does not need vernalisation. Sow January-February for flowering in July-September. Cut flower stems can be harvested, when the flowers are just half open. Remove the soft lateral shoots. Vase life 12-16 days. The stems can be harvested for dried flowers when the flowers are fully open. 90-100cm.
