Early to flower, around two weeks faster than the traditional varieties. Plants are also much more compact with shorter flower stems. Shoeshine is far more resilient to the physiologically produced black spots formed on the leaves. As with other Bergenia keep feed levels low for faster growth. 30-40 cm

Perennial, sow April-July, cover very lightly with vermiculite, germinates in 3 weeks at 18-20°C. 4,000 seeds per gram, 1g for 1,000 plants.
Sell in: 8cm pots or larger, as green plant with label or in flower.
End Use: Borders.
