Long lasting cut flower, all buds will open when placed in vases. 50cm. End Use: Cut Flower.
Cut-flower type (Grace): Cool temperature plant grown at 15-18°C day and 10°C night when it will flower in about four months from sowing. Do not exceed 25°C. Can be grown both in the autumn (Glasshouse), and early spring (outdoors or under glass). Cover seed with a thin layer of vermiculite. When 7-8 true leaves appear, pinch out the tops and plant into beds at 25-30cm spacing. A sandy soil with good drainage is optimal. The lateral branches all produce five to six flowers in a cluster on top of the plant. Stems are strong and the plants are productive, with yields in the order of fifteen high quality stems per plant.
Open-pollinated types: Annual, sow directly into rows in open ground in April-May. For seed count see species.
