Tomato F1 Crokini (VTO122)

Fantastic tomato

I have been growing tomatoes for many years but the first time with cherry ones, my son asked for them. These had good reviews so I decided to try them. I have just picked and eaten my first, June 25, and have to say they are everything that has been said. Most trusses have between 70 and 100 fruits which I am having to support because of the weight and pollinating takes ages as there are so many flowers. Highly recommended as they are firm but sweet and juicy and are a superb crop in every way.

I set the seed in a heated propagator in February which germinated in a couple of days. I grew them on for about 3 weeks and then planted them into grow bags in March in my heated greenhouse. They are quick growing and need vertical support on canes. I always pinch out side shoots but these need regular attention as they are such good growing plants and keep sending more shoots. Now the trusses of fruit are so big (up to 100 on each) that they need plenty of support to fan out so the fruit is exposed to the light and can ripen. I started picking tomatoes on June 25th, so approximately 17 weeks from setting the seed.
