Market standard variety, extremely high marketable yield of large roots with very good canker resistance. Roots have a shallow crown to reduce wastage. Suited to prepack and fresh market.

Long standing, low maintenance crop, popular as a large standard crop harvested over a long period (or cleared at one time), or as a ‘mini-veg’ crop. Good standing ability and long shelf life.
200-240 seeds per gram. Germinates at 5-20°C. Sow February-April, at 2.5-4.5 kg per hectare. Spacing 5-10cm x 45-90cm. Harvest from October to February.

First time growing pelleted parsnip ,out of 1000 seeds only 30 grew due to my inability to keep watered to soften clay and get seeds growing ,however what did grow are massive with 12” roots and very tasty without a frosting ,so will definitely buy pellets again but with more water !
