A grandiflora type with large 6cm flowers. Maximus has been extensively selected for garden performance. The habit is vigorous and is best suited to 10cm pot production. 15cm.

Annual: Sow February-April onto compost surface, germinates in 7-10 days at 15-18°C. Prick out into 6-packs, grow on at 12-15°C, growth regulators can be used to ensure a compact habit, according to the manufacturers’ guidelines. 21,000 seeds per gram. Can be sold a few weeks earlier than Impatiens, Begonia etc as tolerant of cooler temperatures.
